100 days: Senator Jimoh Ibrahim appoints 100 aides, splashes them with N30m 

 

As the 10th Senate hits 100 days after inauguration on June 13, 2023, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim (APC Ondo South) appointed 100 personal assistants to mark the milestone.

Each of the personal assistants as declared in a personally issued statement by the Senator, would collect N300, 000 as take off pay, totalling N30 million.

He specifically declared that each of the 100 Personal Assistants appointed from his constituents, will receive a bank draft of N300, 000 as take off empowerment emolument.

“These appointments are a reflection of my dedication to delivering excellent representation, attending to constituents’ needs, and supporting the legislative goals that have a positive influence on our people’s lives,” he said.

He added in the statement that road rehabilitation, maintenance and construction, would be flagged up by him across the various local government in Ondo South Senatorial District as part of his 100 days in the Senate celebration.

Senator Ibrahim had before the Senate proceeded on annual long recess on the 7th of last month, sponsored a bill for establishment of bitumen development commission and as well, mulled the idea for creation of Ministry of Revenue.
