Nigeria youths under the umbrella of Nigeria Youths Leader Assembly (NYLA) has called on Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki to honorably step -aside for another person to calm down the charged political in the National Assembly.
Speaking with our correspondent in Abuja yesterday, National Co-ordinator of NYLA, Comrade Chilota Onyeaka, said since the political atmosphere is hot , the youths believe Senator Saraki to leave the stage hen the aviation is loudest.
He said: “Let’ s try another person and see if things would work for the country because for now nothing is working in the senate and if there is no synergy between the executive and the legislature, Nigerian would not benefit anything at all, “ Onyeaka stressed.
According to him, Nigerians did not vote in the senators to be fighting in the senate chamber, adding that they have never considered the need of the masses but rather take their individual interest into consideration in all they do.
“There is no atom of progress to youths development in the whole saga.
We look at those things happening as people taking care of their personal interest.
The Senators are not acting in the interest of the public but in their interest to maintain their position to continue to milk the country.
They are not interested in whether or not Nigeria is progressing.
“The position of Nigerian youths is to carefully vote for the right people at the 2019 general election whole possibly we may boy- cut the election totally.” On the issue of arrest of DSS boss over NASS invasion, the Coordinator said that government should not witchhunt anybody.
Whoever is culpable in the invasion of NASS should be punished.
