Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic party and former vice president Atiku Abubakar, has expressed satisfaction with the ongoing presidential and National Assembly election, noting that ,it is good that Nigeria is improving in every election circle.
Atiku stated this in an interview withjournalists in Yola, after casting his vote around 9 am in his Ajiya polling unit in Yola south local government.
He expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the election.
“I expect that this is a more credible process than the previous ones and i think it is good that we are improving in every election circle,” he said.
The PDP candidate further expressed optimism of winning the election and satisfaction with the large turn out of people to cast their votes without any serious hicups.
He addded that every environment has its own challenges so they dont expect uniform challenges across the country.
He also commended the independent National electoral commission (INEC) and the security agencies for their roles in ensuring a hit free exercise.
