Delta Queens, the reigning Nigerian champions, are eagerly awaiting the announcement of their opponents for the West African Football Union (WAFU) B leg of the CAF Champions League play-off.

The draw for this highly anticipated event will take place in Abuja on July 3, as confirmed by the African football governing body.

The participating teams will be divided into two zones during the draw, setting the stage for an exciting clash between some of West Africa’s top women’s football clubs. 

The sub-continental football governing body recently sent a communique to all general secretaries under WAFU B, notifying them that the draw will commence promptly at 11:00 a.m.

Delta Queens, who emerged victorious in the Nigerian Women Football League (NWFL) Super Six play-off just last week, have dethroned Bayelsa Queens, the previous representatives of Nigeria in the competition.
