Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue state on Monday praised his orderly, Inspector Julius Donko, who was promoted recently.
Suswam, together with the Commissioner of Police, Benue state command, Mr. Adams Audu, and Commandant MOPOL 13, CSP Yusuf, jointly decorated Donko with his new rank of Inspector.
In a brief ceremony at the Makurdi Government House, Suswam described Donko as “an intelligent officer” who had over the years demonstrated an unprecedented humility and ability to manage politicians and others around the corridors of power.

He said: “I am not surprise but rather happy with his promotion. He is truly a hard working and humble officer. He has the capacity to work with anybody because it is not easy to contain and endure politicians who come around me the manner he has been enduring.”
On his part, the Commissioner of Police charged Donko to maintain the good behaviour he exhibited to warrant praises from his boss and the police hierarchy.
“Today, you have been promoted from Sergeant to Inspector.  If you keep faith and always remember to be loyal to the authority not forgetting to be detailed with your assignment, the sky will be your limit,” he said.
