The Super Eagles will now play a warm-up game against Guinea ahead of the 2023 AFCON.
Burkina Faso were the other likely opponents for the Super Eagles, but officials have now said an agreement has been reached with Guinea in this regard.
The match will be played on January 9 before they fly back to Nigeria the following day on their way to Abidjan.
Guinea are one of five AFCON finalists who are training in Dubai preparatory for the tournament, which kicks off in Cote d’Ivoire from January 13, 2024.
