Despite recording heartwarming draws against Scotland and Greece respectively in international friendlies matches recently Nigeria’s Super Eagles’ position remain unchanged in the latest FIFA World rankings that was released yesterday afternoon.
Curiously, the Super Eagles are still 44th in the world, and 6th in Africa, despite being Africa’s champions with the likes of Cape Verde who have not play any matches recently ahead of the country.
Ghana lost to Portugal in their last friendly but they are still ahead of Nigeria in the monthly rankings.
Algeria are now No. 1 in the continent, overtaking Cote D’Ivoire, who are paying the price of losing to Bosnia Herzegovina in another friendly encounter.
