Rivers United are the only Nigerian club side ranked in the top 30 in the latest CAF Club rankings.
The CAF Five-Year Rankings were updated after the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup.
Rivers United are ranked 24th best team in Africa with accumulated 14 points during the period while Ah Ahly maintain their dominance as the best team in Africa with 78 points.
In the ranking, Al Ahly of Egypt, Sundowns of South Africa and Esperance of Tunisia were placed first, second and third respectively.
