Photography contest begins in Niger

The second edition of Niger State Photography Contest has begun in Minna, the state capital.

Organised by Hilltop Arts Centre, it is opened for senior secondary school students in the state.

The contest is being sponsored by the state’s director general for Information Communication Technology, Abdulberqy Ebbo.

While the winner is expected to go home with a camera and N50 thousand, the first and second runner-ups will get cameras and N20 thousand and N30 thousand respectively.

Hilltop Arts Centre was founded by B.M. Dzukogi, a teacher and former Secretary-General of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA).

At the centre, youngsters horn their artistic potentials for meaningful life and professional excellence.
