PDP governors forum: Bala, Fubara’s emergence a renewed hope for PDP – Binta

 

Former Deputy Minority Whip of the House of Representatives and Managing Director, FBB Rice Milling Limited, Hon. Fatima Binta Bello, has congratulated Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state and Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers state over their emergence as chairman and deputy chairman, respectively, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Governors Forum.

In a congratulatory message, Binta who was the member of the House of Representatives, representing Katungo/Shongom federal constituency of Gombe state, described the election of the duo as a renewed hope for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party.”

“The election of Governor Bala and his Rivers state counterpart, Governor Fubara, as chairman and deputy chairman of the PDP Governors Forum is a good development in the Party in recent time”.

‘They’re passionate and committed members of the party and given their experience, they’ll provide purposeful leadership to the forum and renewed hope for the party,” she said.

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state on Saturday emerged as the chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, while Governor, Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers state was elected as deputy chairman of the forum.

The election was held at the Bauchi state government house last Saturday during the party’s retreat conducted for its newly elected officials.

Governor Bala Mohammed won his second term in the 2023 elections while Fubara was elected on the expiration of the second term of Governor Nyesom Wike.
