Osun 2026: Why voters ’ll reject Adeleke – Oyebamiji

Adeleke osun state 1

A governorship aspirant in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun state, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), has said that voters will reject Governor Ademola Adeleke in the 2026 governorship election in Osun state because of his mismanagement of over N1 trillion allocations that accrued to the state in the last 30 months.

Oyebamiji who is the managing director and chief executive officer, National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), met leadership and members of the APC in Ife-South and Ife-North during his consultation tour and lamented that Osun has been receiving financial rainfall of over 300 per cent of what it used to receive, yet nothing to show for the humongous allocation by the incumbent government.

The leadership of the APC in Ife federal constituency pledged support and massive mobilisation for the actualisation of his gubernatorial ambition in 2026.

Oyebamiji said the affairs of the state had been practically run aground under the current government as manifested in the poor funding of education, health, infrastructure and key sectors in the state.
