NYSC debunks cancellation of orientation

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has debunk the rumouring making the round on the purported cancellation of the 2014 Batch ‘C’ Orientation Course, saying there was not nothing like that.

A statement signed by the Director, Press and Public Relations, Mrs Abosede O. Aderibigbe and made available to Blueprint yesterday, she called on all prospective corps members, parents, guardians to ignore such rumour saying no such decision has been taken by the NYSC.
“The attention of the NYSC Management has been drawn to the rumours making the rounds about purported cancellation of the 2014 Batch ‘C’ Orientation Course. We wish to inform all prospective corps members, parents, guardians and the general public that no such decision has been taken by the NYSC.

“All our scheduled orientation courses remain as planned; and if it becomes necessary to make any changes, such will be communicated to all stakeholders through the appropriate channels,” she said.
She advised the corps members and other stakeholders to always seek confirmation of information relating to the Scheme’s policy matters at the scheme Headquarters, state secretariats nationwide or through its website while question should be sent to it information centre.
