Ikorodu City have confirmed the resignation of their head coach, Bright Ozebagbe.
The club confirmed Ozebagbe’s resignation on their X account on Monday, 7th of October, 2024.
“Ikorodu City Football Club can confirm the resignation Bright Ozebagbe as head coach of the team,” reads the short message.
“The club received Ozebagbe’s letter of resignation last night after the 1-0 defeat to Plateau United in Jos.
“The club will announce a new coach in the coming days.”
Ozebagbe was behind the side’s promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) last season.
However, Ikorodu City are yet to record a win in the NPFL this season.
