NDE inaugurates 36 coaches for WAEC, NECO, JAMB in Plateau

The Plateau state coordinator of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Mrs. Asabe Lassa, has urged educationists to work hard at achieving the desired goals of coaching students toward passing SSCE, WAEC, and NECO examinations in the state.

The coordinator made the call Wednesday at the orientation ceremony of Graduate Coaching Scheme (GCS), held at the Plateau state office of the directorate.

She said mass failures in final year secondary school students in WAEC, NECO and JAMB, has continued to be cause for serous concerns, hence the need for NDE’s intervention to help in mitigating such failures.

“Based on the above, the NDE initiated the Graduate Coaching Scheme, to take care of these lapses by recruiting unemployed graduates of education…to coach and prepare the SS3 students for WAEC, NECO and JAMB,” she said.
