Nasarawa PDP Rep aspirant pledges 100-bed capacity hospital

A former member of the House of Representatives, Dr.
Joseph Haruna Kigbu said he has built a 100 bed capacity hospital in Lafia and will soon be commissioned before the end of this year.
He stated this at the weekend while submitting his nomination form at the PDP secretariat in Lafia, the Nasarawa state capital.
The former lawmaker, who represented Lafia/Obi federal constituency of Nasarawa state said his intention to recontest the seat was to enable him complete the laudable projects he initiated while he was a member of the National Assembly from 2011 to 2015.
Dr. Kigbu said the hospital which is first of its kind in the North Central will be a free medical outreach where all Nigerians will be attended to in the state.
He said the intention was to reach out to a larger population of Nigerians so that Nasarawa could move forward and be a better place to live in.
“While I was at the National Assembly I brought innovative ideas by ensuring that Nigerians get free healthcare services, particularly the less privileged ones,” he said.
Kigbu said if given another mandate, he would be committed in enacting and passing resolutions that would have direct bearing on the lives of the people of the state.
He, therefore, appealed to the citizens to always see themselves as one, so as to make Nasarawa a rancour-free state.
