Manchester United have officially announced new squad numbers for several players ahead of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.
In a statement published on the club’s official website on Monday, the Red Devils confirmed that new signing Bryan Mbeumo will wear the No. 19 shirt, previously worn by former defender Raphaël Varane.
Another summer arrival, Matheus Cunha, has been handed the iconic No. 10 jersey, vacated by Marcus Rashford, who recently joined Barcelona on loan.
Diego Leon, also a summer acquisition, has been assigned the No. 30 shirt, while Diogo Dalot has switched to No. 2, which became available following Victor Lindelöf’s departure. Dalot had previously worn No. 20 since his arrival in 2018.
Further changes include the departure of Christian Eriksen, leaving the No. 14 shirt vacant, and Jonny Evans’s retirement, which frees up the No. 35 jersey.
The club also announced updated squad numbers for several academy prospects:
Bendito Mantato – No. 70
Godwill Kukonki – No. 72
Reece Munro – No. 65
Chido Obi – No. 32
Jack Fletcher – No. 38
Ethan Williams – No. 56
Tyler Fredricson – No. 33
Shea Lacey – No. 61
