Leventis foundation announces winners of N2m support fund October

Leventis Foundation has said it would announce the winner of its N2 million empowerment scheme tagged LFN30AGRIBUSINESS PITCH.
The foundation stated in a statement recently said that winners would be announced in October and awarded at an exclusive gala dinner, describing the gesture as her commitment towards enhancing livelihoods.
The foundation described the proposed intervention as part of activities to mark 30th Anniversary of Leventis in Nigeria.
It stated that the fund would be made available to agribusiness entrepreneurs through its empowerment programme tagged LFN30AgribusinessPitch.
Applicants are expected to upload their business plan from August to early October 2018.
The statement reads: “In celebration of her 30th anniversary, Leventis Foundation Nigeria is giving young agribusiness entrepreneurs an opportunity to win up to Two Million Naira in its empowerment scheme tagged LFN30AGRIBUSINESS PITCH.
“The scheme is designed to enable youth and farmers across Nigeria to be awarded seed money to help them accomplish their business pursuits.
“To participate, agri-preneurs will employ the use of social media as means of application as well as the Leventis Foundation’s website portal where they can upload their business plan.
“The competition will run from August to early October 2018.” “Leventis Foundation Nigeria was established in May 1988 following Chief Anastasios George Leventis (1902–1978) ambition to assist educational, cultural, and other charitable causes in West Africa with a keen interest in Nigeria based upon a successful run of family business legacies spanning over 80 years.
“The Foundation currently operates technical training institutes in over 9 locations across Nigeria and Ghana in partnership with State Governments of the regions.
