Pilgrims from Plateau state have Saturday and Sunday joined millions of their counterparts from across the world to offerr special supplications for sustainable peace and prosperity of the world and Nigeria.
They also supplicated to Allah to grant President Muhammad Buhari, and Governor Simon Lalong good health as well as the political will to offer good leadership in the country and Plateau state respectively.
Our correspondent reported on Saturday afternoon at Arafat, Governor Simon Lalong in a live phone call to the executive Secretary of the State pilgrims board, Barrister Auwal Abdullahi, extended his best wishes to the pilgrims and urged them to pray for Nigeria and Plateau state.
Barrister Abdullahi led the hajj pilgrims to the opening of the special prayer session at Arafat, amidst downpour of rain.
He said Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Simon Lalong and everybody desired fervent prayer for sustainable peace and prosperity.
