Ganduje’s victory inspires confidence in judiciary -APC chieftain

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Kano, Alhaji Musa Danbirni, has described Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje at the governorship election petition tribunal as a triumph for the rule of law in the country.

He said the judgement had inspired his confidence in the nation’s judicial system.

Reacting to the tribunal verdict in the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party against Governor Ganduje, Wednesday, Danbirni said Justice Halima Shamaki had proven herself as an intelligent and bold legal authority who had striven to live above board in handling her assigned responsibility.

According to him, the nation’s judicial system was regaining its lost glory unlike the past when some in authority were exerting undue influence to achieve their parochial ambition.

According to him, with restored credibility in the judicuiary, people are now inspired to believe that the nation’s judicial system is promising.

Further, the APC chieftain urged Governor Ganduje to redouble effort to improve the lot of the people, stressing that would be a lasting legacy that many would remember him for long after his eight years administration.

He said the tribunal judgement should ginger his resolve to ensure free and compulsory education for millions out- of- school children, adding his administration should impact on the less-privileged ones.

He called on the PDP and its candidate to accept the verdict and join hands with Governor Ganduje to build the state and deliver dividends of democracy for the people.
