The Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), Prof. Chigozie C. Asiabaka, has praised journalists in Imo state for their continued positive coverage of the institution’s programmes and activities.
Asiabaka, who was speaking during an interactive session with some media representatives in the tate, made it clear that the institution’s programmes and activities coupled with information on projects being put in place were being read and heard in their various media.
He called on the journalists to continue to enlighten the public on the happenings in the school and pleaded with them not to hesitate to ask questions on any grey area in order to report objectively.
Earlier, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of FUTO, Mr Chike Ezenwa, commended the vice chancellor for accepting to host the media men, adding that they had cooperated with him since he came on board and that he had been enjoying their relationship.
