Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku said the agency is dedicated to enhancing the overall passengers experience at the country’s airports, assuring her management unwavering focus on facilities and services improvement at the airports.
She affirmed that developments at the international wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos signpost the vision for 2025 just as she disclosed that plans for purchase of additional cooling facilities, upgrade of equipment and modernisation of infrastructure are focus areas next year.
Mrs. Kuku spoke at the weekend in Lagos at the unveiling ceremony of the newly refurbished E Wing Departure terminal of MMIA and the injection of four environmentally friendly CNG-powered air-conditioned buses with the aim to ensure seamless movement of passenger within the international airport.
Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Festus Keyamo, SAN, commended FAAN for its unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional service to Nigerian travellers.
The Minister praised the collaborative effort between FAAN and the United Bank for Africa (UBA), in upgrading the facility highlighting the project as part of a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing passenger comfort and entertainment within airport terminals.
