Ex-CAC registrar bags traditional title

A former Registrar-General, Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC),  Alhaji Farouk Umar Danlasan  was on  Friday turbaned as the new district of Warawa by the Emir of Gaya, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulkadir.

Abdulkadir said the new district head was conferred with the traditional title “in recognition of his spectacular role in shaping the destiny of the nation in the capacity he served as registrar-general, Corporate Affairs Commission and other spheres of human endeavour.”

He said Danlasan had been a role model of excellence and should be emulated by those who were conversant with his pedigree, adding that the traditional institution was in need of genius person like him.

Also speaking, a former chairman, Kano state Primary Education Board, Alhaji Yakubu Adamu, said for his contribution to the development of the state he deserved the title conferred on him.

Adamu called on him to carry everyone along, stressing that “showing leadership by example is what is most expected” of him.
