Edo guber: My focus ‘ll be people, environs, resources – LP aspirant Eromosele

 

An aspirant on the platform of Labour Party (LP) for Edo state governorship election, Prof. Ebo Sunday Eromosele, said if he becomes governor of the state, he would focus attention on improving the living standard of the people, environment and resources.

Eromosele noted that the people needed to be part of governance, adding, “People are ready with me to take Edo for the Labour Party

Prof. Eromosele who spoke to journalists in Abuja after obtaining the party’s nomination and expression of interest forms on Thursday, said there is rising poverty in Edo state.

The aspirant who stated that LP is a party to beat in Edo governorship election, also promised to take the party to Osadebe Avenue, the state government house.

Eromosele who said he is Esan in Edo Central senatorial zone, however, stated that he was not bothered about zoning “because I am qualified” to be Edo governor.

He disclosed that he is committed to the development of Edo State, adding that has has been involved in education and skill acquisition programme.

The aspirant appreciated the LP leadership, stating that the party believes in equity and justice.

National Youth Leader of the LP, Prince Kennedy Ahanotu who presented the nomination forms to him on behalf of the party’s leadership, assured him of level playing field during the primary.

Ahanotu boasted that Labour Party will win Edo State in the September governorship, noting that the party denied other parties from getting 25 percent in Edo State in the 2023 presidential election.
