Delta: Support flood victims, Clergy beckons FG

Federal Government has been urged to support the affected flood victims in the country whose homes and farmlands were destroyed during the natural disaster that submerged some of the states in Nigeria.

Gregory Oputa Foundation made the call Wednesday when it provided relief materials worth millions of naira to over 1,500  affected flood victims in Aboh, Ndokwa East local government area of the state.  

The founder of the foundation, Dr. Gregory Oputa, while providing the relief materials to the beneficiaries said called on President Muhammadu Buhari to support the communities affected in order to alleviate their suffering.

He provided quality health services to all residents of the kingdom irrespective of the socio-economic status and geographical location.

He said, “Part of my calling is to meeting the needs of the people and my people are faced with a situation where some have been displaced as a result of the flood disaster and they are largely going to have economic challenges which has affected their ability to have quality health care.”

Gregory Oputa, also a founder of   Throne of Grace Ministries, a non-denominational ministries said everyone benefited from the health services, both the elderly, youth and children in the affected communities.
