Dankwambo urges prayers for Buhari, country

Gombe state Governor, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, has called on the people of the state to continue to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari, his administration and the entire country.

Dankwambo made the call at the weekend when the Emir of Gombe, Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III, paid him Sallah homage the Government House, Gombe.

He also urged people of the state to continue living in peace with one another and prayed for the continuation of permanent peace in the state and the entire country.

Dankwambo further commended Emir for his support and contributions to his administration and the people, especially the less privileged, and urged him to continue with the selfless service.

He appreciated the people for their support for his administration, saying: “I have nothing to thank the good people of Gombe state for their support and encouragement to my administration.”

Also speaking, the Emir of Gombe, Alhaji Abubakar Shehu Abubakar 111, expressed his gratitude to Governor Dankwambo for his support to the Gombe Emirate, describing him as “a leader for all.”

The emir thanked him for the respect and honour for him and Gombe Emirate in general, by saying that “Gombe Emirate is always proud of you.”

He also said his commitment to help the less privileged was in line with Dankwambo’s Good policy and he was doing all to support the policy “for government cannot achieve all without the intervention of the citizens.”
