Dankwambo swears in 16 special advisers, others

The governor of Gombe state, Alhaji Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, has sworn in 16 special advisers who were among the 117 political appointees with a view to strategising its administration’s policies in order to move the state forward.

While inaugurating the new special advisers, the governor said their appointments were based on merit, adding that his administration would do everything possible to ensure that only qualified people would be appointed into political offices in the state.

He noted that considering the citation of the appointees, there was no doubt that their appointments were a clear manifestation of the fact that democracy had been entrenched in the state.
He urged them to work assiduously with other public officers to ensure effective implementation of government policies and programmes.
