Reports making rounds that Pa Pastor Shyngle Wigwe slumped during the burial of his son, daughter-in-law and grandson have been refuted.
Though the report that was initially made on his alleged collapse was not authenticated, another one refuting it wasn’t also confirmed.
However, Vanguard quoted a source as saying that the 80-year-old Wigwe is very much alive, without ill-health.
According to the report, the source said, “Even the Senate President (Godswill Akpabio) met and prayed for him.
The story of Pa Wigwe’s collapse is totally false. We should allow the family to mourn its dead and not add to the pain by writing false stories.”
The funeral service of Herbert Wigwe, his wife, Chizoba, and son, Chizi, held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Lion of Judah Parish in his hometown in Rivers before their remains were later interred at a private cemetery within the Wigwe University premises in Isiokpo.
