Ahead of the crucial second-leg Confederation Cup match against USM Algiers, Nigeria’s Rivers United have arrived in Algiers, the nations capital.
The Pride of Rivers recorded a narrow 1-0 win over the defending champion courtesy of a strike from Augustine Okejepha.
The team under technical adviser Stanley Eguma departed the shore of Nigeria late on Thursday en route to the North African country.
They arrived on Friday afternoon and they’ve settled down for the crucial match slated for Sunday.
They are expected to have their compulsory training at the match venue on Saturday before the second leg game.
