WAFCON 2024 moved to 2025

The Women’s Africa Cup of Nations scheduled for this year will now hold next year. Sports Village Square gathered from the virtual meeting of the CAF executive committee held on Friday that the 2024 African Women’s Cup of Nations will not hold this year again.

CAF has finally fixed it to run from 5 to 26 July 2025.

CAF took the decision during its executive committee meeting on Friday.

This marks the first time the WAFCON will be held outside its originally scheduled year.
