Normalcy returned to Kaduna and Lagos metropolis as commuters and citizens resumed commercial activities early Saturday, two days after the commencement of the nationwide hardship protest.

The protest had taken place heavily on Thursday and Friday in both states as businesses closed due to uncertainties surrounding the protest.

However, on the third day of the protest on Saturday, normalcy has returned with people back on the streets and commercial activities returned.

Meanwhile, protest continued in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) as security operatives on Saturday dispersed protesters demonstrating in front of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja and other parts of Nigeria’s capital.
