Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state has described president Muhammadu Buhari as “a great blessing to Nigeria” and that his victory at the presidential polls was a clear indication of  the fact that God had answered the prayers of Nigerians in need of credible leaders.

Speaking when he received the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, who paid him the traditional Hawan Nassarawa visit at the Government House, on Sunday, Ganduje said Buhari’s emergence as a leader was not as a result of using gun or sheer force to bring him to power, rather it was the will of God that made him to be.
He said “Nigeria is on the road to witnessing a credible and sustainable paradigm shift in the parlance of credible leadership,” stressing that for what he was known for Buhari would utilise the opportunity given to him by God to better the lot of every Nigerian.

Turning to his blueprint on leadership, Ganduje said he would strive to pay good attention to the issue of completing the high profile developmental projects embarked upon by his predecessor adding that education would continue to receive the priority attention of his government.
Speaking earlier, the emir reminded leaders at all level of governance to imbibe the fear of God in whatever they do.
He tasked the Ganduje administration to pay good attention to the issue of security, education, health care and water supply.
