Renowned administrator and educationist, Mr Sunday Adeniyi, popularly known as Little Sunday is dead.
He was an in-law to Mr Kehinde Osasona of the Blueprint Newspapers.
A statement from the deceased family said he died after a brief illness.
A native of Ekan Nla, an alumni of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, a devout Catholic and Knight of Saint Mulumba, Adeniyi started out as a Teacher at Offa Grammar School in Kwara State, then education secretary in Ekiti and Oke Ero LGAs respectively and retired as a Director at the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission.
His works according to kinsmen and relatives have helped shape public policy, community developments and good governance.
Adeniyi who held sway as the Secretary General of Ekan Development Association (EDA) before his death was survived by his wife, Mrs Titilayo Adeniyi, children and grandchildren.
Burial arrangement is currently being put together by the family and relatives
