APC needs Nyako

As an elder statesman, with vast experience in leadership and proper understanding in the game of politics, the former governor of Adamawa Murtala Nyako deserves to be elected as the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, especially now that the party is in a great turmoil.

Nyako is one of the founding fathers of the APC who contributed immensely towards the growth and development of the party.

The clear injustice perpetrated by some self centred and gullible individuals in the party led to many irregularities that forced some members to move to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and other alternative political parties.

The caretaker committee lead by the incumbent governor of Yobe state Mai Mala Buni has done a great job in coordinating and reconciling with the warring members of the party. As a result, many notable members like former Speaker Yakubu Dogara, Senator Abdulaziz Nyako and other political bigwigs who left the party have returned in anticipation that things will come back to normalcy as the party scheduled congresses and national convention approach.

The party has also received decampees from the PDP including serving governors like Dave Umahi of Ebonyi state, Ben Ayade of Cross River and now Bello Matawalle of Zamfara state and other prominent politicians in various states of the federation. Even with the crisis that emanated from the last controversial party congresses. Nyako remains steadfast and continues to fight for justice and unity in the party.

After Mai Mala Buni, Nyako remains the sole candidate that will continue to coordinate and strengthen the affairs of the party.
