APC Guber candidate promises development if elected as ex- PDP Chairman joins ruling party in Yobe

All Progressives Congress (APC) governortorial candidate in Yobe state and former APC National Secretary, Hon. Mai Mala Buni has pledged to bring developmental projects to the state if elected as governor come March 2, 2019.

He made the pledge on Tuesday while flagging off his maiden zonal campaign at Gashua the headquarters of Bade local government.

Buni, said Governor Gaidam has done tremendously well during his two terms of office therefore promised to continue where the governor stopped.

Speaking earlier, governor Ibrahim Gaidam while presenting APC flags to aspirants called on the supporters to  vote all APC candidates having recorded achievements under the auspices of the party.

In his remarks, the senate leader at the National Assembly, Dr. Ahmed Lawan pledged 100 per cent support to Mai Mala Buni and the other aspirants in the zones.

He thanked the governor for approving free dialysis to victims of kidney disease at the Yobe state University Teaching Hospital, Damaturu.

At the rally, former Peoples Democratic Party PDP Chairman in the state, Lawan Gana Karasuwa, former PDP senatorial candidate, Hajiya Mairo Amshi among others who defected to APC were received by Governor Ibrahim Gaidam and other senior party stalwarts.
