APC berates Gov Dickson for tagging them ‘terrorist organization’

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa state has reacted to claims by the Bayelsa state Governor Henry Seriake Dickson proscribing the party in the state and describing them as a  ‘terrorist organisation masquerading as a political party’ as unfortunate.

Bayelsa state APC publicity secretary Mr.Dofie Buokoribo said: “We find Governor Dickson’s vituperations crude, infantile and extreme. Those words are completely unbefitting of a high-ranking officer of state”.

“But then, we are not surprised at all that Dickson could use such gutter words to describe a rival political party. We have always known him to be a colorless, uninspiring and cretinous politician”.

“Dickson and his gang in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have always proved to be a club of visionless little minds with neither programme nor strategy, save crude mudslinging against APC and its leaders”.

He added that “Governor Dickson is free to continue to live in denial. But we know that his days and that of his party in our state are numbered. For almost eight years, Dickson subjected the people of Bayelsa State to a regime of fear, war, and terror”.

“The Bayelsa state Government House is now a place where criminals, cultists, and other lawless elements are harbored. He appointed known criminals, cultists, and militants as council chairmen,” he added.
