Anambra school targets 10 years to produce sports champions, outstanding leaders

Gran Hermano Academy, Awka, Anambra state, Monday, said it was committed to producing a true, reliable, transparent and accountable leaders for Nigeria before the next 10 years.

The school principal, Mr Athanasaus Ezekwe, who stated this shortly after the institution marked its 10th year anniversary in Awka, the state capital, posited that the founder, Chief Chijioke Nwajioha, stood for academic excellence with love to build committed and responsive leaders for his country.

According to him, Gran Hermano has zero tolerance to laziness, fraud and examination malpractice, which was why their students who emerged best in various subjects and examination bodies could defend their results, and exhibit good character, morally and ethically sound.

On his part, the school proprietor and Chief Executive Officer, Chief Nwajioha, commended Anambra state residents for thrusting their children under their care, noting that they would never relent in educating and building the students capacities to become champions and leaders in politics, sports and other endeavours.

Nwajioha also explained that those who graduated from the school since its inception were competing favourably with others at best universities in Nigeria and beyond where they currently study medicine, engineering, information technology and other professional courses.

“We are celebrating success and what we achieved in ten years. We started with about 50 students, but today we have about 700 students. Our graduates are excelling where they are studying medicine and other professional courses. You can imagine what will happen in the next ten years. We are envisaging a situation where we will lead in all sectors in Anambra State, Nigeria and beyond,” he added.
