Al Muminaat unveils 3 decades of impacting humanity positively

A leading Muslim women organisation, Al Muminaat, Thursday, said it has every reason to give glowing tributes to Allah for granting the organisation the wisdom, courage and forthrightness to deliver on its mandate at building a virile Muslim home.

In a statement made available to newsmen through its secretary, Hajia Hafsah Adesina, the organisation quoted the National Amira of the organisation, Hajia Jelilat Abdulhamid, as saying that it has functioned for 30 years and its existence has diligently worked towards re-enacting the era of  prophet Muhammad.

“We have nurtured Muslim women to attain a high level of spirituality, become wives who are dutiful mothers to their wards, and we have scrupulously implemented a three-sixty degrees approach through depth and perspectives as envisioned at the conceptualisation of our organisation.

“We have successfully created a formidable nexus between their profession, Islam and their family,” Hajia Jelilat said.

The release from the secretary further stated that the 30 years anniversary of the organisation will last from August to October with lots of thrilling and soul-inspiring lectures, health caravan, professional conference, awards to outstanding personalities who have done Islam proud in the spheres of professionalism and endeavour and lots of excitement moments to mark the commemoration.

While recounting the giant strides the organisation as achieved in 30 years, she stated further that it has achieved about 451 teribiya centres (religious training class) across the country in a bid to creating an ideal Muslim community that can withstand the whirlwind of moral decadence, and brace the odds against demeaning stereotypes and false narratives against their dressing and believe. 

In supporting the academic pursuits of some indigents, the organisation established (The Future Islamic Hope School)which has successfully enrolled few identified orphans from amongst its fold.
