AFCON 2023: Super Eagles hit gym for titanic battle against Cote d’Ivoire, Osimhen, Yusuf miss training

Super Eagles on Monday morning hit the gym as they begin build-up for Thursday’s titanic clash with AFCON Group A battle against host nation Cote d’Ivoire.

There was two gym sessions of an hour each for the team at the Pullman Hotel, where they are booked.

They are also scheduled to train at their designated training ground at the National police college from 3.30 pm local time.

Thursday’s match against the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire will be from 6pm local time at the Alassane Quatarra Stadium in Abidjan.

The Ivorians top Group A with three points after a 2-0 win over Guinea Bissau on the opening day of the tournament.

Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea are on a point each after Sunday’s 1-1 draw, while Guinea Bissau are bottom of the standings after the loss to the host team.
