Tragedy struck again on Friday as a truck loaded with cement reportedly lost its brakes while descending Kugbo Hill and rammed into multiple vehicles on Karu Bridge, inward Karu Site, Abuja.
According to eyewitnesses, the truck crushed several vehicles and their occupants before fleeing the scene. It was later intercepted around Karu Roundabout by a group of commercial motorcyclists.
There have been two other accidents around the area in recent times with number of deaths recorded.
