Another prosecuting witness and the Managing Director of CMC Connect Ltd, a public relations consultant, Yomi Ogunsanya, has told Justice Okon Abang of a Federal High Court in Abuja that the National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh, paid him N77.5 million for publicity.
The witness testified that he was awarded the consultancy job for the PDP after an exhibition he held before former President Goodluck Jonathan in December, 2014.
Led in evidence by the counsel representing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Sylvanus Tahir, the witness said he received the sums of N7.5 million and N70 million on December 1, 2014 and December 15, 2014, respectively.
