Zamfara NUJ, APC mourn PDP chair

The Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Zamfara state council, regretted the death of the state PDP chairman, Alhaji Ahmad Sani Kaura, and condoled with the party’s stakeholders in the state as well as the people of Kaura Namoda Emirate.

This was contained in a statement signed by the state NUJ chairman, Ibrahim Maizare, in Gusau Friday.

The union described the death of Alhaji Ahmad Sani Kaura as “a great loss, not only to his family and the Peoples Democratic Party, but to the entire people of Zamfara state and the country in general.”

The union described the late Alhaji Ahmad Kaura as “a political leader” who contributed immensely in championing political development, both at state and the federal levels.

In the same vein, the state chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Alhaji Tukur Danfulani, has condoled with PDP, Kaura Namoda emirate, and the family of the late Ahmad Sani.

This was contained in a statement signed by the state Publicity Secretary of the party, Yusuf Idris.

“His death, however, came while he was working towards peace in the midst of Islamic scholars, we therefore pray to Allah to reward him in abundance and grant him eternal rest in Jannatu Firdaus,” the statement read in part.
