NDE trains 30 youth on entrepreneurship in Yobe

The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has Wednesday flagged-off basic business training (BBT) for 30 graduates of entrepreneurship development training scheme (EDTS) in Yobe state.

The Director General NDE Abubakar Nuhu Fikpo said, the basic business training was to prepare the beneficiaries to undertake their own business Venture.

Represented by yobe state NDE Coordinator, John Tumba Kwaji, Fipko said , the training was an initiative of the agency with a view to add more knowledge plus the practical skills aspects to the beneficiaries to make them more knowledgeable in their area of specialization.

  Fipko charged the participants to pay much attention for the benefit of themselves and the entire society at large.

The Director Small Scale Enterprises NDE, Apakasa S .David, represented by Miss Aishatu Ali, highlighted some of the basics of the training which shall be thoroughly delivered to the participants by outstanding Resource persons during the four 4 days training period.

She admonished them to take the training serious as it would put them in advantage state in writing business plan and establishment of business venture.

In his remarks, the state NDE head of department small scale Enterprise (SSE), Abba Adamu said, at the end of the training certificate will be given to them. This will help the beneficiaries to access loan from financial institutions such as NIRSAL Micro Finance Bank and other Developmental Banks to finance their businesses.
