The former Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and former Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (Rtd), has called for total reform of the security sector to deal decisively with Bandits, Terrorists and other criminals causing insecurity in Nigeria.
Dambazau, the 17 COAS made the call at the ongoing 2021 Blueprint Annual Public Lecture And Impact Series holding at International Conference Center, ICC Abuja.
The Guest Speaker while presenting his keynote address said “we urgently need to reform the Nigerian security sector for efficiency and effectiveness. If we must guarantee the nation’s peace, security and stability, the reforms will define the structure and holistically re-professionalize the security sector”.
