2023: APC’ll win Benue governorship, all elective positions – Byua

Benue state governorship aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mathias Byuan Monday said his party will clear all elective positions in the 2023 general elections in Benue.

Byuan also said Benue needed total rehabilitation, and only him and his party the All Progressive Congress have the capability of fixing it.

Speaking with journalists in Makurdi during a meeting to declare his intention to contest the Benue number one seat, he said there is total hunger in Benue and the people are suffering because of bad governance in the state under the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party PDP.

According to him, Benue needed someone with the political will and the capability to develop it, adding that Nasarawa which was far behind Benue and was created in 1996 has now developed better because it is led by an APC Governor.

He said he will also provide stomach infrastructure, and alleviate the immediate suffering of the people.

Byuan also noted that he has put a team and will soon roll out his Blueprint, which will explain in details the things he will embark on if he is elected governor come 2023.

“I came here to declare officially that I want to contest for Benue Governorship in the 2023 election.

“I am not going to be governor to be blowing siren around the state. I contested senatorial elections in Benue North East and have sponsored elections contested by other people in my party.

“Benue needs someone like me to be developed. Nasarawa which was created only in 1996 is developing faster and is now doing better than Benue because it is controlled by a governor who is APC.

“Aside executing life changing projects, I will also provide stomach infrastructure to alleviate immediate suffering of the people. “When I come here next time, I will roll out our Blueprint to speak in details about things I will embark on if elected governor in Benue state come 2023,” he added.
