Calling on the Muslim Ummah

I would like to give a piece of admonition to those who have the means and enough wealth to persevere and feed the foodless especially at this juncture where each good deed is rewarded more than a hundred times.

We are experiencing hardship. However, if you donate no matter how little to those that are desperately in need whether with foodstuffs or with anything in the form of money to the aforesaid, you would be rewarded similar to those who fast.

Sadly, what always bothers with some Nigerian elite is that they would distribute Ramadan palliatives to those who are not religiously entitled to it (the wealthy). Relief materials are meant for only those who cannot afford three square meals.

You have to change your pathetic reaction towards the laymen. Let us look for Jannah in this sacred month of Ramadan by using our resources and energy to help those who are in need.

We should seize the opportunity of this sacred and noble month of Ramadan by praying tirelessly for peace, unity and orderliness to reign in our dear country.

In a nutshell, we have no other country to be proud of and uplift her status other than Nigeria, as such, we must pray for peace and unity as well as to live harmoniously with each other, irrespective of tribal and religious affiliations.
