Governor Jibrilla Bindow of Adamawa state has said that, only God and the people of Adamawa state, who elected him into office would decide his fate or stop his re-election not Abuja based politicians who are desperately working to pull down his government.
The governor who stated this in an interactive session with journalists in Yola, said 2019 is for God adding even if it is just four years that God destined him to be governor he would remain grateful for the opportunity, as he maintains that he is not bothered about 2019 and the plot of Abuja based politicians against him.
According to him, if God says he would be re-elected, no conspiracy in the world can stop him therefore, he would rather use the resources of the state to work for the people who elected him rather than sharing it to few elites and other forces based in Abuja.

He attributed the actions of Abuja based politicians and mischief makers who ganged up against him to envy and his refusal to share the resources of the state to them and allowed them to teleguide him.
The governor further explained that, he has no problem with anybody and would not join issues with them as according to him, those fighting him are fighting god and the people of Adamawa state who elected him governor.
Bindow added that, whoever want to contest against him in 2019 is welcome and lets the people of the state decides stressing that Adamawa state belong to all of them .
On the issue of party structures, he noted that, he would never bribe his way to have control of the  party structures in the state and that, Adamawa’s money would only be used to work for the people of Adamawa adding that as long as the people of the state are happy with him and his administration he is not bother with what Abuja politicians feel about his administration.
He further said that, whatever he is doing is for the future of Adamawa state and posterity would judge stressing that, he would not steal Adamawa money and would soon hold anti corruption submit where he would give account of his stewardship on the money so far received by his administration and how it was expanded including money spend per kilometers of roads since he came on board compering to previous administrations in the state.

The governor who expressed surprise that 99 percent of those fighting him today are his friends before he became governor also vowed not to probe the administrations before him.
According to him, despite the economic crunch and poor IGR he was able to construct over 66 roads in Yola and Jimeta alone among other giant strides within just one year and without borrowing a kobo from bank to execute any capital project apart from overdraft to augment the payment of salaries to civil servants which he usually pay back.
Even as he attributed the achievements recorded by his administration to transparency, fear of God and prudent management of resources and appealed to journalists in the state to compare his administration to those before him and tell the world the true story of his government.
