2015: Buhari should step down for Kwankwaso – Binta Spikin

Special Assistant to Governor Musa Rabiu Kwankwaso on Research and Documentation, Hajiya Binta Rabiu Spikin, has called on General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) to consider how Kwankwaso dealt with the PDP during the just concluded local government election and step down for him in the 2015 APC presidential race.

She said: “Buhari and Kwankwaso shared similar qualities, but Kwankwaso is younger stronger and an accomplished politician than Buhari he should be allowed according to the adviser to contest in 2015, Buhari can remain behind the scene as father and leader to guide Kwankwaso.
“You need to come closer to Kwankwaso and see how passionate he is in a hurry to develop Kano state and Nigeria in three years, we have over 2, 000 Kano indigenes studying all over the world. He built one university in 2002 in Wudil and he has also built the North-west University last year.

She said her saddest moment would be when Kwankwaso would leave office as governor in 2015, adding that “if we can have our way we will go to court so that Kwankwaso will be allowed to contest again in 2015, after all if President Goodluck Jonathan can contest in 2015 the governor can also do so.”
On the just concluded local government election, she said the results she said had shown that Kwankwaso was the most powerful governor-politician in the North and even in the whole country.
