The Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the Zamfara state Assembly bye-election in Kaura Namoda South constituency inconclusive.
This was announced by the two returning officers of the election, Dr. Sa’ad Lawal and Dr. Aminu Idris Mahmuda Isah.
According to them, the re-run of the election would hold in five polling units of Kyambarawa and Sakajiki wards.
They further stated that another day for the inconclusive election will be announced by INEC.
Blueprint gathered that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the ruling party in the state has 5,341 votes while the All Progressive Congress (APC) has 7001 votes.
APC leads with 1,660.
