The Awareness for Voter Education for women under the APC women professional council, Zamfara state branch, has embarked on campaign drive across the 14 local government areas of the state ahead of 2023 election.
This was made known by the state coordinator APC Women Professional Council Zamfara state chapter, Hajiya Dr. Barira Ibrahim Bagobiri, while fielding questions from newsmen in Gusau, Sunday.
According to her, the state council has resolved to support all APC candidates in the state and Nigeria during next general elections.
She described voter education campaign as a yardstick for educating the legible voters, particularly women, to acquire their permanent voter cards for them to have opportunity to vote during the upcoming general election in the country.
“Our council deemed it necessary to embark on voter education campaign drive to women on the significance of acquiring their permanent voter cards and support APC for the 2023 elections in the state,” she added.
She added that the council has organised door to door campaign for Tinubu and Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle in the incoming 2023 election in the state.
She urged the entire legible voters, particularly women in Zamfara state to come out en-masse and vote for APC during 2023 elections.
