Youths ‘ll facilitate Buhari’s 2019 victory – Ebije

The Director General, Door to Door Movement (DDM), Dr Ugbede Paul Ebije has said that the general acceptability of President Muhammadu Buhari by youths across the country is enough to give him a landslide victory at the presidential election scheduled to hold early next year.
Ebije stated this while addressing newsmen in Lokoja yesterday.
He noted that Buhari’s landmark achievements in the fight against corruption, infrastructural development and agrarian revolution have endeared him to the Nigerian youths.
He said the unprecedented sense of belonging and empowerment enjoyed under the present All Progressives Congress (APC) administration at the federal level by the Nigerian youths endeared the president to them and it has given them “a renewed hope in Nigeria.” “This government has succeeded in just three years to liberate Nigeria from the economic woes created by past administrations of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The government did this through the fight against corruption and prudent management of the nation’s resources.
“President Buhari’s fight against corruption has dethroned and relegated old and corrupt Nigerian politicians to the background for youthful and innocent Nigerians to hold sway in the scheme of things and to be better positioned in the struggle for power and the building of a new Nigeria where peace and justice shall reign,” he said.
The Bayero University of Kano trained Medical Doctor who is also aspiring to represent Idah Federal Constituency at the National Assembly noted that Buhari’s presidency has elevated the less privileged youth to the extent that “the most qualified amongst us who were hitherto marginalized by the corrupt few can now vie for important positions in order to bring development to their people.” Dr.
Ebije said the 36 State Coordinators of the DDM inaugurated recently would soon swing into action to campaign rigorously for the return of the president to ensure he continues to consolidate on his developmental drive.
Speaking on his ambition, he said his ambition is to give quality representation to the people adding that his constituency has not had good representation at the lower chamber since 1999
